Mody University organises IC3NS, 2018 Conference

NEW DELHI, MARCH 5: A two-day international conference on Computing, Communication, Network and Security (IC3NS-2018) was recently organized by the College of Engineering and Technology (CET), Mody University of Science and Technology (MUST) in Laxmangarh, Rajasthan.
The two-day event, 3rd International Conference on Computing: Communication, Networks and Security or IC3NS-2018 witnessed over 500 delegates from across the country and abroad with a total of about 300 papers, 50 posters, 40 hardware and software projects presented during the conference. Padma shri awardee, Dr. Deepak. D. Pathak (IIT, Mumbai) was the chief guest during the event. Dr. Phatak, was also conferred with “Mody University Engineering Excellence Award, 2018” during the event.
In His Keynote Address Dr. Phatak talked about the immense impact and utility of Blended MOOCs method of higher education.
Talking about the intention behind organizing the conference, Dr. V.K Jain, Dean, College of Engineering (CET), Mody University and Chairman IC3NS-2018 said, “The intent behind the multi-disciplinary international conference is to provide a common platform, where academia, delegates from industry and nominees from various government agencies can sit together, and cherish about achievements so far, as well as deliberate upon futuristic approaches along with major bottlenecks. The deliberations will not only encompass all avenues of electronics, computer science and information technology but also through spotlight on positive and inadvertent impact of modern technologies on society. The context of the conference is to foster as well as exaggerate the research culture among academia and industry facilitated by sprinkled out ideas by exchange of the intellect during conduct of the conference.”
Among the dignitaries as guest of honor during two days of conference Prof. Dharmendra Singh (IIT, Roorkee), Mr. A Rao Kaka (Program Director, IBM), Ms. Anuka Kumar (IBM), Mr. Karan Nangru Chief Digital and Technology Officer, Xebia, USA), Prof. Vinod Sharma (University of Jammu), Prof. Himanshu Agarwal (Punjabi University, Patiala), Prof. Bhagirath Singh (Vice-Chancellor, MGSU, Bikaner) were present.
Congratulating the Committee of the conference, Shri. R.P Mody, Honorable Chancellor, Mody University said, “The conference is another venture to provide a common platform where awareness about novel researches can be disseminated, scope for further research can be investigated and challenges can be discussed"
The IC3NS-2018, also held many competitions during the two-day event like Young Teacher 2018, Best Ph. D, Best M.Tech and Best paper competition during the event Dr. Nishtha Keswani from Central university Rajasthan & Dr. Vijay Kumar from Thapur University was awarded Young Teacher Award 2018.
