NBE announces DNB final theory exam dates 2022; application process begins on October 29

NEW DELHI: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has announced the registration date for DNB, DrNB final theory exam for December 2022. Students will be able to submit their DNB final theory exam forms on the official website, natboard.edu.in.

The application window for DNB final exam will be active from October 29 to November 18, 2022. As per the schedule announced by the NBE, DNB exam dates are December 21, 22, 23 and 24.

The DNB information bulletin which will be released on October 29 will have details on eligibility criteria, fee structure, scheme of examination and other details. The NBE will be conducting the DNB final exams 2022 at various examination centers across the country.

DNB final exam dates

Along with the DNB exam dates 2022, the NBE has also announced the tentative exam schedule for the upcoming academic year 2023. Due to COVID-19, the joining of DNB Post MBBS Broad specialty and DrNB Superspecialty trainees for the 2020 admission session was delayed. Therefore, DNB/DrNB final exams for these trainees are scheduled to be held in 2023.

However, the DNB Broad Specialty (Post MBBS) trainees of 2020 admission session will not be eligible to appear in the DNB final theory exam scheduled to be held in December. Eligibility criteria, fee, exam pattern for such candidates will be released on both natboard.edu.in and nbe.edu.in.

Diplomate of National Board is a postgraduate master's degree same as MD, MS degree awarded to the specialist doctors in India after completion of three year residency.
