NBEMS has opened the FMGE 2026 final selective edit window for candidates to correct deficient images till June 10
FMGE 2026 final selective edit window: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has started the final selective edit process for the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) 2026 application form. Applicants can make the correction by visiting the official website of NAT board at natboard.edu.in.

This facility will be available till June 10, 2026 and is for aspirants whose uploaded images, including photograph, signature, or thumb impression, were found deficient or incorrect during scrutiny.
NBEMS has clarified that candidates will only be allowed to correct deficient images during this window, while no other information in the application form can be modified.
The official notification reads, “candidates are advised to submit the images in their application as per prescribed image upload guidelines. Failure to submit images as per guidelines and/or failure to rectify the images shall invite rejection of the application.”

FMGE 2026 Final Selective Edit Window: Steps to make correction
To check the correction in FMGE 2026 application form, candidates can follow the steps given below:
- Visit the official website of NAT board at natboard.edu.in
- On the homepage, click on the FMGE 2026 application link
- Enter the login details, including user ID and password
- Open the deficient image correction link
- Upload the corrected photograph, signature, or thumb impression as required
- Verify the uploaded images carefully and then submit
- Download the confirmation page for future reference

- Test city: June 17, 2026
- Admit card release date: June 24, 2026
- Exam dates: June 28, 2026
- Result date: July 28, 2026

FMGE 2026: Exam pattern and marking scheme
FMGE 2026 will be conducted in computer-based mode by the NBEMS. The exam will consist of 300 multiple-choice questions divided into two parts: part A and part B, with 150 questions in each section. Candidates will get 2 hours and 30 minutes to complete each part, making the total duration of the examination five hours. The paper will be conducted only in English.
According to the marking scheme, candidates will receive one mark for every correct answer, and there will be no negative marking for incorrect responses. To qualify the examination, candidates must score at least 150 marks out of 300.
