UPSC has released the NDA/NA application form 2021 today for women candidates. The NDA application form 2021 last date is October 8, 2021. Women candidates can check the dates and steps to apply here.
NEW DELHI:
Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the NDA application form 2021 for women candidates in online mode on the official website - upsc.gov.in. Only unmarried women candidates can fill the NDA/NA 2 application form. The physical standards and number of vacancies for women candidates will be notified by UPSC after receipt from the Ministry of Defence soon. Women candidates can complete the NDA registration by providing their information and paying the application form fees. The last date to fill the NDA application form 2021 for women candidates is October 8, 2021 (6 PM).

The decision was taken by UPSC in accordance with the Supreme Court of India’s direction permitting women candidates to take part in the NDA and NA (2) 2021. UPSC has also mentioned that any candidate other than female, will be liable to penal action if they apply for NDA 2 2021. The candidate will be debarred for 10 years from appearing at all future examinations of the UPSC.

How to fill the NDA application form 2021 for women candidates?
Step 1 - Visit UPSC official website - upsc.gov.in.
Step 2 - In the ticker on the homepage click on “National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination (II), 2021 (Scheduled on 14.11.2021) - Only for Women Candidates”.
Step 3 - A new window will open, consisting of the dates and part 1 and part 2 links to register.
Step 4 - Complete the NDA registration process and then move to the next step.
Step 5 - Submit the NDA 2 2021 application form online.

When will the NDA exam for women candidates be conducted?
As mentioned on the official website, the NDA exam for women candidates will be conducted on November 14, 2021. More details like the eligibility criteria, vacancies etc is expected to be shared soon by the UPSC. The official notice also mentions that admission of women candidates in the will remain provisional and subject to final outcome of WP (C). No.1416/2020 or such other order(s) as may be passed by apex court and action by the Government of India in the matter.
