New Delhi, May 7 : Now that NEET 2019 exam is over, candidates who have appeared in the exam want to lay their hands on the official NEET 2019 answer key. Unofficial versions of the answer key are already available, having been released by leading coaching institutes like Aakash, Resonance, and Career Point, immediately after the exam. Many candidates are also using them, but since they don’t have the official seal, they are not 100% reliable. Also, the coaching institutes releasing these keys can’t challenge the correctness of a key, if the official key considers it to be incorrect.
However, candidates are generally allowed to challenge the veracity of official answer keys. For making a challenge, they are given a time frame but have a pay a specific fee. Once a challenge is filed, the exam conducting will go through it along with other such challenges filled by other candidates, and finally release the final answer key of NEET 2019, post which no objection will be entertained.

Calculating score using OMR Response sheet
Along with the official answer key, NTA will also release the OMR response sheet where the candidate originally entered his/her responses in the exam. So, by referencing the answer key and the OMR sheet, one can accurately calculate the number of correct attempts and thus expected score. So, unless something unexpected happens, the score calculated this way will be the same as when actual results are declared by June 5.
For calculating scores, one must use the exam pattern prescribed in the information bulletin.
