NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is all set to release the allotted NEET 2021 exam cities today, August 20, at neet.nta.nic.in for all registered candidates. NEET 2021 exam city link will include all the cities in which the medical entrance exam will be held. Aspirants can check the NEET-UG 2021 exam city allotted to them by using the application number and password.

The NTA will allot the exam city based on the preferences provided by candidates while filling the NEET 2021 application form. As per the latest update, NEET-UG exam will be conducted on September 12, 2021, in 203 exam cities for granting admission to 83,075 MBBS, 26,949 BDS, 52,720 AYUSH, 525 BVSc, AH seats, 1,899 AIIMS and 249 JIPMER MBBS seats.

NTA has released a link to check NEET 2021 exam city on the official website. Candidates can use the application number, date of birth and security pin to check it.

How to check allotted exam centre of NTA NEET

Candidates who are unaware of how to check the allotted NEET 2021 exam centre must follow the steps mentioned below.

  • Visit the NTA official website, neet.nta.nic.in.

  • Click on th "NEET 2021 candidate login"

  • Enter the NEET 2021 application number and password to login

  • Details regarding the allotted NEET exam centre will be displayed

  • Check the details carefully of NEET city allotted

Increase in NEET 2021 exam centres

NEET 2021 information bulletin PDF has been released with an increase in exam cities. This year, NEET will be conducted in 203 exam cities. Dubai and Kuwait City have been added as two new NEET 2021 exam cities abroad.

The decision of increasing the NEET 2021 exam centres has been taken into consideration to ensure social distancing norms and to curb the spread of COVID-19.

The Education Minister had confirmed that to ensure adherence to COVID-19 protocols, “face masks will be provided to all candidates at the centre. Staggered time slots during entry and exit, contactless registration, proper sanitization, seating with social distancing, etc. will also be ensured.”
