Use NowNEW DELHI: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is likely to start the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test PG (NEET PG) 2021 Counselling 2021 next week, as per the ANI report. After the Supreme Court's nod to resume the NEET PG Counselling 2021 process, the MCC is expected to soon announce the NEET PG and UG Counselling dates 2021.
As per the Supreme Court verdict, NEET PG, UG Counselling will be held with 10% EWS, 27% OBC reservation in All India Quota (AIQ) seats for this year. The MCC will soon be announcing the NEET UG and NEET PG Counselling dates 2021 on the official website, mcc.nic.in.
Among the changes introduced this year, the NEET PG Counselling will be held in four rounds, as per the latest MCC circular.

The notice released by the ministry of health and family welfare on July 29, 2021, stated that the 10% EWS, 27% OBC quota would benefit every year nearly 1500 OBC students in MBBS and 2500 OBC students in postgraduation and also around 550 EWS students in MBBS and around 1000 EWS students in postgraduation.

The MCC will be starting the counselling process as the third-year students will pass out in four months and will reduce the burden from second and third-year resident doctors. “NEET PG counselling has to start immediately because 3rd year residents are about to pass out in four months. We'll be left with 33% of the workforce. With 3rd wave coming we need doctors," Advocate Archana Pathak Dave for FORDA told the Supreme Court during the hearing.
Before the NEET UG Counselling and NEET PG Counselling begins at mcc.nic.in. Candidates have to keep important documents ready. NEET 2021 admit card, NEET 2021 scorecard with rank, Class 10 and 12 marksheet. ID proof such as Aadhaar card, PAN card, Driving License etc, coloured passport sized photographs and caste certificate and PwD certificate, if applicable.
