NEET PG counselling 2024 dates revised after cut-off reduction; round 3 choice filling tomorrow

Use NowNEW DELHI: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has announced the revised schedule for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test - postgraduate (NEET PG 2024) counselling dates for round 3 after percentile reduction. The NEET PG round 3 counselling registration 2025 deadline has been extended till January 15.
The MCC NEET PG counselling 2024 was paused after the round 2 admission process. The Union ministry of health and family welfare (MoHFW) on January 4 lowered the NEET PG cut-off for general category to 15 percentile and the SC, ST, PwD cut-off was reduced to 10 percentile. The decision was taken to fill up vacant seats in PG medical colleges.
As per the revised schedule, the NEET PG round 3 choice filling will begin from January 12 to January 16. Those candidates who are eligible for admission in PG medical college as per the reduced cut-off percentile will be able to register by January 15
Meanwhile, the Supreme Court will hear the petitions against the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NEBMS) and the exam transparency NEET PG exam 2024 on January 21.
The participating medical colleges will have to upload the number of PG seats up to 5 pm of January 24 on intramcc portal, intramcc.nic.in.
