NEET result out at ntaresults.nic.in; cutoff scores higher than previous year

NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) released the result for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test - NEET 2020 on October 16. Along with the results the authorities released NEET 2020 cutoff percentile and equivalent scores. On comparing the same with the previous year it can be seen that the cutoff (category-wise) has increased for the year 2020-21. This had been speculated after the exam was conducted as NEET 2020 combined exam analysis stated that the question paper was of moderate difficulty level.
Highlights of NEET 2020 Cutoff
- The cutoff marks for all categories has increased in comparison to the previous year.
- NEET 2020 Cutoff for unreserved category is 147, which was 132 in the last year. This means that there is an increase of 15 marks
- Minimum qualifying percentile in NEET for OBC, SC, ST, OBC & PH, SC & PH, ST & PH has increased by 6 numbers. The NEET cutoff marks for these categories was 107 previously and it now is 113.
- UR / EWS & PH category candidates have witnessed an increase of 9 marks which is from 120 in NEET 2019 to 129 in NEET 2020.
