The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has removed the MBBS seats of Meenakshi Medical College Hospital and Research Institute, Enathur, Kanchipuram from the seat matrix of NEET UG counselling 2023 as the college has not received the recognition from NMC. The college offered 250 MBBS seats.

In NEET UG counselling 2023, of a total of 8,113 All India Quota (AIQ) seats, 2,189 are reserved for the OBC category in medical and dental colleges for the academic year 2023-24, the ministry of health told the Parliament. "From the academic year 2021-22, 27% reservation in respect of OBCs as per the Central Educational Institutions (Reservation in Admission) Act 2006 is provided for undergraduate and postgraduate medical/dental courses (MBBS/MD/MS/Diploma/ BDS/MDS) in All India Quota (AIQ) seats as per Central OBC List (Non creamy layer) and the same is applied for seats contributed by States," the health ministry said in a reply.

The candidates who will be allotted seats in the all India quota (AIQ) by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will have to upload their relevant documents on the official website – mcc.nic.in – on July 30. Department of Medical Education and Research is conducting the Haryana NEET UG counselling 2023 for state quota seats in the state. There are 2,185 MBBS seats in the state. Medical Counselling committee, MCC, has extended the process of online choice filling process for MCC NEET UG Counselling 2023 till 11: 55M on July 27. The candidates can fill the list of preferred institutes at the official website -- mcc.nic.in.

Candidates applying for UP NEET counselling 2023 can submit the application and security fee till 5 PM on July 28. The students will have to pay a security deposit of Rs 30,000 for state quota seats. Those applying for private medical and dental college will have to deposit Rs 2 lakh and Rs 1 lakh for MBBS and BDS seats, respectively. Only those students who have submitted the security deposit will be allowed in the online choice filling process, which starts at 11 AM on July 31.

The Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences, KNRUHS Warangal, is conducting NEET UG counselling 2023 for private and government medical and dental colleges in Telangana. The web option for KNRUHS NEET UG 2023 is expected to start in first week of August.

NMC has directed the participating colleges to treat all Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted holidays as working days.

Only a few MP students have opted for Hindi MBBS textbooks to pursue the medical education. The Madhya Pradesh government launched MBBS textbooks in Hindi for three courses - anatomy, physiology and biochemistry - last year. Dr YSR University of Health Sciences has extended the deadline to register for Andhra Pradesh NEET UG counselling 2023 till 6 pm today, July 27. Earlier, the last date to register was July 26. Eligible candidates can apply for MBBS, BDS admissions in state medical, dental colleges on the official website, ugcqysruhs.com.

Rajasthan medical education department will start the official website for Rajasthan NEET UG counselling 2023 soon. The official website will have information on counselling dates, schedule, registration link, documents required, and more.

Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS) has started the choice-filling process for Punjab NEET UG counselling 2023. Candidates will be able to fill choices by July 30. The seat allotment result will be declared on August 3.

CEE has started the choice-filling process for Kerala NEET UG counselling 2023. Candidates who registered for MBBS, BDS counselling can give options on the official website, cee.kerala.gov.in. The last date to fill choices is July 31. The round 1 provisional seat allotment result will be declared on August 2 whereas final seat allotment result will be out on August 3. Candidates belonging to the general category will have to pay Rs 5,000 for options whereas reserved category candidates will have to pay Rs 500.

KEA NEET UG 2023 counselling schedule for Karnataka MBBS, BDS admissions 2023 is yet to be announced. However, KEA extended the registration deadline for Karnataka NEET UG counselling 2023 till today, July 27. Eligible candidates can apply on the official website, kea.kar.nic.in.

The list includes state merit, NEET roll number, NEET rank, NEET percentile, NEET score, final score after grace, name of the candidate, gender, category, local, EWS, minority, and remarks.

The DME started the MP NEET UG counselling 2023 registration for round 1 on July 26. Candidates can apply on the official website, dme.mponline.gov.in. The website for Rajasthan NEET UG counselling 2023 is yet to be active. Candidates can check the latest updates on the official website of the state medical education department, educationsector.rajasthan.gov.in.

The registration for the Uttar Pradesh National Eligibility Entrance Test (UP NEET) UG counselling 2023 will end tomorrow, July 28. Candidates can apply for MBBS, BDS admissions at upneet.gov.in. While the round 1 registration window will close at 11 am, students will be able to submit the fee by 5 pm tomorrow. Round 1 merit list will be announced on July 29 and the choice-filling process will begin on July 31.

As per the NEET UG counselling 2023 schedule for admission to MBBS, BDS programmes for the academic session 2023-24, the processing of seat allotment will begin today and end tomorrow. The seat allotment result will then be announced on July 29.
