Download NowThe National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER), Bhubaneswar, has issued the admit card for the National Entrance Screening Test (NEST) 2025 today, June 4. Candidates can download the NEST 2025 admit card through the official website at nestexam.in by entering their application number and password.
The NEST 2025 exam is scheduled to be held on June 22 for admission to the five-year Integrated Master of Science (MSc) programme in Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics, at NISER, Bhubaneswar and University of Mumbai – Department of Atomic Energy Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences (UM–DAE CEBS), Mumbai. The exam will be held in a single shift from 9 am to 12:30 pm.
The NEST 2025 exam is divided into four sections including mathematics, physics, chemistry, and biology. Each section will have 20 questions carrying 240 marks in total. As per the marking scheme, candidates will be awarded three marks for every correct answer, while one mark will be deducted for each incorrect response.
Candidates can access the NEST 2025 mock test link from the official website to familiarise themselves with the NEST 2025 exam pattern and type of questions. The NEST 2025 entrance exam will use percentile scores based on the relative performance of all qualified candidates, with the highest score treated as the 100th percentile.
Based on the performance in NEST 2025, a merit list of the candidates will be prepared and posted on the official website by July 10. According to the institute, the NEST 2025 merit list will be prepared by considering the best three scores out of the four sections, excluding the section with the lowest score.
