NLSAT 2024 for admission into LLB, PG programmes of NLSIU Bengaluru tomorrow

The NLSAT 2024 3-year LLB and MPP exam will have two parts, which the candidates will have to attempt in 150 minutes.
NEW DELHI: The National Law School of India University (NLSIU) Bengaluru will conduct the National Law School Admission Test (NLSAT) 2024 from 10 am to 12:30 pm tomorrow. The NLSAT 2024 is being held for admission to 3-year LLB (Honors), Masters in Public Policy, and PhD programmes.
The students will have to produce the NLAST 2024 admit card, along with a government approved identity card such as Aadhar card, voter’s card, passport, driver’s licence and other, at the exam centre. They are advised to reach 30 minutes before the examination timing to avoid inconvenience. The NLSAT question paper will have two parts – Parts A and B – which they will have to attempt in 150 minutes.
Part A pattern
Candidates will face the following type of question in Part A of the NLSAT 2024:
- Part A is an objective-type section and consists of 8-10 passages of around 500 words that will be followed by multiple-choice questions based on the passage.
- It will have three sections on Comprehension, Current Affairs and Critical Reasoning
- Each section will have 25 questions
- There will be a total of 75 questions and each question will carry one mark
- There will be a negative marking of 0.25 for every wrong answer and every unattempted question.

Part B pattern

Part B is a subjective type section requiring candidates to write short descriptive answers and an essay.

It will have 10 short descriptive questions and one essay question

The ten short descriptive questions will test the candidate’s ability in legal aptitude and reasoning. The question needs to be answered in 300-350 words. Candidates do not need prior knowledge of the law to answer the questions

The essay question will be a test of analytical ability. The essay should be answered in a maximum of 500 words. The essay will test the candidate’s knowledge of the topic and the ability to form coherent arguments. The essay doesn’t require the candidate to have prior knowledge of the law.

The section will be for a total of 75 marks - 10 questions of 6 marks each. 1 essay question of 15 marks
