NMC to reopen portal for colleges to fill data of admissions in PG specialty, super-specialty courses

NMC will re-open online portal for medical institutions to fill data of admissions in PG specialty and super-specialty courses from January 13 to 17.

NEW DELHI: The National Medical Commission (NMC) asks all medical colleges and institutions to fill the details of the candidates that have taken admission in post graduate (PG) board specialty and super specialty courses on the online portal. The commission will reopen the portals from January 13 to 17, 2023.

The institutions are required to fill in the data on the basis of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET)- PG and SS 2022. The NEET PG 2022 counselling special stray vacancy round for vacant seats along with state counselling for state quota sets will conclude tomorrow, January 14, 2023.

The commission also informed that the NEET SS 2022 candidates were required to report to their allotted colleges by January 12, 2023 after second round of counselling. NMC requests all institutions to fill in the required data within the time period given and will not accept physical or manual data of the candidates, all entries must be made online.

In recent news, the union health ministry has extended the MBBS internship cut-off date to June 30, an official announcement will be made soon. The NEET PG students were in a stitch when the NBE announced the NEET PG cut-off dates for March 31, 2023. Most candidates requested authorities to extend the dates as over 75% of the interns would not be eligible to appear in NEET PG 2023.
