NTA issues advisory on CUET PG 2026 application process, fee payment; registration open till January 14

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued an advisory for candidates seeking admission through the Common University Entrance Test for Postgraduate (CUET PG) 2026, urging them to complete the registration process before the portal closes on January 14, 2026, at 11:50 PM.
According to the notice, candidates are required to fill out the CUET PG 2025 application form , pay the prescribed exam fee, and download the confirmation page for future reference before the deadline. Eligible candidates can fill out the CUET PG 2025 application form through the official website at exams.nta.nic.in/cuet-pg/.
The testing agency states that only candidates who have successfully paid the fee will be considered as having completed the application process. “It is reiterated that only candidates who have successfully paid the fee will be considered as having completed the application process. Candidates are also advised to check their particular carefully before fee payment as no change shall be permitted later,” the NTA said.

The CUET PG 2026 application correction window will be available from January 18 to January 20, allowing candidates to modify their application details if required.
The computer-based test will be conducted across 292 cities, including 16 outside India, for 157 subject papers. Candidates can choose up to four exam cities, subject to availability.
Universities using CUET PG scores
CUET PG 2026 scores will be used by central, state, deemed, and private universities for admission to postgraduate programmes. Delhi University has confirmed that all admissions to its two-year PG courses across departments, colleges, and the Non-Collegiate Women Education Board will be based solely on CUET PG scores, with 10% supernumerary seats reserved for foreign nationals.
