NTA Exam Calendar 2027 Out: JEE Main from January 22, CUET PG in March

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has published its examination calendar for December 2026, January, February and March 2027 cycles, announcing proposed dates for major entrance and eligibility examinations, including University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET 2026), Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main 2027), Common Management Admission Test (CMAT 2027) and Common University Entrance Test (CUET PG 2027).

As per the NTA notice, the dates are tentative and may be changed due to administrative, academic, statutory, logistical or other unforeseen circumstances.

NTA Exam Calendar 2026: December schedule

The NTA has listed five examinations for December 2026. As per the calendar, the UGC NET December 2026 cycle is proposed to be held from December 14 to 19, 2026, with December 20 and 21 kept as buffer dates. The Joint CSIR UGC NET December 2026 cycle is scheduled for December 20 and 21. The proposed schedule is as follows:

NTA Exam Calendar 2027: JEE Main, CMAT dates

For 2027, JEE Main Session 1 is proposed to be conducted on January 22 to 24 and January 28 to 30, with January 31 as a buffer date. The CMAT 2027 is scheduled for February 7, while CUET PG 2027 will be conducted across multiple dates in March.

NTA said the examination calendar has been published to provide greater transparency, predictability and convenience to candidates. The NTA exam calendar allows candidates, educational institutions and other stakeholders to plan their academic activities accordingly.

Candidates are advised to regularly check the official NTA website and respective examination portals for detailed notifications, application dates, city intimation slips, admit cards, answer keys and results.
