NTA reschedules UGC NET 2021 Kannada papers due to technical issues

National Testing Agency has rescheduled Kannada papers for December 2020, June 2021 cycles. New exam dates, admit cards to release soon.

NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has rescheduled the University Grants Commission - National Eligibility Test or UGC NET Kannada papers for December 2020, June 2021 cycles due to technical issues. The exam was scheduled to be held on December 26 but could not be conducted at some centres.

“Due to technical issues at some centres of UGC NET December 2020 and June 2021 examination in Subject “Kannada” held on 26.12.2021 (Shift-1) in CBT mode, the scheduled examination could not be conducted,” said an official notification from NTA.

NTA has decided to reschedule the exam of these impacted candidates. The revised date, admit cards will be uploaded shortly for these candidates, it said.

NTA further said, “Candidates are advised to regularly visit NTA websites www.nta.ac.in, https://ugcnet.nta.nic.in for the latest updates regarding the examination.”

In a related development, NTA has rescheduled the joint CSIR UGC NET 2021 exam dates due to a clash with some major examinations. CSIR UGC NET 2021 scheduled to be held on February 5 and 6, 2022, has now been postponed to February 15 and 18, 2022.

NTA recently announced the UGC NET 2021 exam dates for phase 3 and four rescheduled exams due to cyclone Jawad. The exams for these candidates will be held on January 4, 5, 2022.
