NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has published the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test - Undergraduate (NEET UG 2024) new syllabus on its official website, nta.ac.in. The NEET UG 2024 syllabus is the same as the one uploaded by the National Medical Commission (NMC) last month.
The NMC announced the revised NEET syllabus 2024 after it got approval from the Undergraduate Medical Education Board (UGMEB).
The commission had directed the medical aspirants to prepare for the medical entrance exam as per the “revised” NEET UG syllabus. However, several aspirants have taken to social media platforms demanding clarity over the changes in the revised syllabus.
Many students have also expressed their concern as they could not access the NEET UG syllabus link on the official websites.

The NTA had earlier announced to conduct the NEET UG exam 2024 on May 5. The registration link is expected to be activated in January. Along with the NEET application form, the NTA will also launch the neet.nta.nic.in 2024 official website.
The NMC recommends NEET UG syllabus after reviewing state boards as well as CBSE, NCERT syllabi and considering the reduction in syllabus by several educational boards.
Students who wish to pursue MBBS, BDS, BSc Nursing, and other undergraduate medical courses will have to qualify the NEET exam to be considered for admission.
In other news, the NMC has extended the last date of admission for MBBS courses to November 27. Candidates who qualified in the NEET UG 2023 will be able to apply for admission before the deadline.
