Odisha Board of Secondary Education declares 10th results; 429 secure 100%

NEW DELHI, MAY 7: The Board of Secondary Education, Odisha has released the results of class 10 examinations. The pass percentage of regular students is 77.35 and the overall pass percentage is 76.23, this year as many as 429 students have secured 100 percent.
The result has been released online and can be checked on its official website. This year, a total of 5,90,367 students had applied for the Odisha Class 10th exam and about 4,38,348 students passed. 0.39 percent students have secured above 90 percent marks as compared to 0.48 percent last year.
From the total number of students who cleared the Odisha 10th exam, about 2,16,305 are boys and 2,22,043 are girls. Balasore district recorded the highest pass percentage whereas Malkangiri recorded the lowest.
Students can also check their results through SMS by sending message to OR10roll number to 5676750. Although Odisha Board Class 10th Result 2018 is now available online, the OMR answer sheets of students will be available after 2 pm today.
Odisha Board 10th result 2018 consists of details such as candidate’s name, marks obtained in each subject, qualifying status, etc.
Students securing a minimum of 30 percent marks in each subject or group of subjects and securing at least 33 percent but less than 45 percent of marks in the aggregate, shall be awarded Third Division. Those securing at least 45 percent but less than 60 percent of marks in the aggregate shall be declared to have passed in the Second Division, and those with at least 60 percent of marks shall be declared to have passed in the First Division.
