Odisha CPET Result 2026: Candidates have to select their PG subject and enter hall ticket numbers to access and download the CPET merit list.
The Higher Education Department, Odisha, has declared the Common Post Graduate Entrance Test (CPET) result 2026 on its official website at pg.samsodisha.gov.in. Candidates will have to select their PG admission subject and enter hall ticket number to access and download the CPET merit list.
Moreover, candidates can also download the CPET state-wise merit list through the Student Academic Management System (SAMS) portal at samsodisha.gov.in.
“The CPET State-wise Merit List for PG Courses for the Academic Session 2026-27 is now live. The schedule for choice filling of HEIs/subjects will be notified later,” as per the official website.

The Odisha CPET examination was conducted from April 27 to May 10 for admission to various postgraduate programmes at government universities and colleges across the state.
The details in the CPET merit list 2026 include candidate’s application number, name, subject appeared, entrance marks obtained, career weightage marks, overall state-wise rank, and category rank.
CPET Result 2026: How to download merit list
Candidates can follow the steps given below to download the CPET result 2026 or merit list.
- Go to the official website at pg.samsodisha.gov.in or samsodisha.gov.in.
- Scroll down and click on the “State wide merit list” option.
- A new window will open.
- Select your PG admission subject and enter the hall ticket number.
- Enter the given captcha and click on the show icon.
- CPET merit list will appear on the screen.
- Check your marks and download the result.
The merit list was prepared on the basis of entrance test scores and career marks from previous academic performance of individual candidates.
The CEPT merit list gives 70% weightage to CPET entrance test marks and 30% to career performance.
