Odisha police recruitment 2024 application from January 20; 933 vacancies notified

NEW DELHI: Odisha Police Recruitment Board has issued a notification for the recruitment of various posts including sub inspector under state Home Department. As per the official notification, the Odisha police service examination will be conducted for recruitment of total 933 vacancies.

Candidates will be able to apply for Odisha police recruitment 2024 through the official website at odishapolice.gov.in. The Odisha police registration 2024 process will begin on January 20.

Of total 933 posts, of which 609 sub inspector posts, 253 sub inspector of police (Armed) posts, 47 station officer (fire service) posts and 24 assistant jailor posts. The last date to apply for Odisha police recruitment 2024 is February 10.

Odisha police recruitment 2024 eligibility

Candidates belonging to general category should not be less than 21 years and not more than 25 years of age as on January 1, 2024.

"The candidates shall not be less than 21 (twenty-one) years and not more than 25 (twenty-five) years of age as on 01-01-2024. Date of Birth recorded in the High School Certificate such as Board of Secondary Education of Odisha, Cuttack/ Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi/ Indian Council of Secondary Education, New Delhi or equivalent certificate issued by the concerned Board / Council will only be acceptable to OPRB", the official notice read.

The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years in respect of SC, ST, SEBC, Women candidates of all categories.

Candidates will be selected on the basis of marks scored in written examination and physical test.
