Over 1 lakh appear for NTA SWAYAM semester exam 2025

According to the National Testing Agency (NTA), around 1.17 lakh candidates appeared for the Study Webs of Active Learning for Young Aspiring Minds (SWAYAM) 2025 exam. NTA conducted the SWAYAM July 2025 exam in 210 centres across 123 cities from December 11 to 16 in 12 shifts.

As per the NTA’s update, around 1.42 lakh candidates registered for SWAYAM, of which 1.21 lakh were unique registrations. NTA SWAYAM 2025 exam was conducted in computer based test (CBT) and hybrid mode.

NTA followed a modern, student-focused approach and ensured a smooth operation by responsive grievance redressal through phone, email and social media channels.

Earlier, once the SWAYAM 2025 hall tickets were issued, several candidates in Tamil Nadu raised concerns regarding the allocation of far-off exam centres in Kerala and Tamil Nadu.

However, after receiving representations from students, Tamil Nadu chief minister MK Stalin requested union education minister Dharmendra Pradhan in a letter for a change in exam centres for students. Later, NTA reallocated the exam centres for 14,700 BEd students appearing in the SWAYAM July 2025 semester exams.

NTA will announce the SWAYAM July semester 2025 result tentatively in the first week of January 2026. Candidates will be able to access their results on the official website, exams.nta.ac.in/swayam, using their application number and other login details.
