NEW DELHI: Punjab Police has issued an online notification inviting applications from qualified applicants for the position of Constable in the District and Armed Cadre of Punjab Police 2024. Eligible candidates who are interested in applying can fill up the Punjab Police recruitment application form 2024 from March 14. The last date to apply is April 4, 2024 till 11:55 pm. Candidates can apply for the Punjab Police recruitment 2024 by visiting the official website, iur.ls/punjabpolicerecruitment2024.
The Punjab police recruitment drive 2024 aims to fill up a total of 1,746 constable vacancies, of which 970 are for district cadre and 776 vacancies are for armed cadre. The selection process includes a computer-based test, Physical measurement test, and document verification.
The computer-based test will consist of two papers- paper 1 and paper 2. Paper 1 will include 100 questions each carrying 1 mark. Paper 2 will have 50 questions carrying 1 mark each. The duration of paper 1 is two hours and for paper 2 it is 1 hour. Candidates are required to score minimum 50% in paper 2 to qualify to the next stage.

- The age of the candidates applying for the Punjab police recruitment 2024 must be between 18 to 28 years old.
- Candidates must have passed Class 12 examination from a recognised board.
- In case of ex-servicemen, the minimum educational qualification required is matriculation or Class 10 from a recognised board.
