The National Testing Agency (NTA) will issue the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2026 re-exam answer key soon on its official website at neet.nta.nic.in. Over 22.01 lakh MBBS aspirants will be able to download the re-NEET UG OMR sheet and answer key using their login details such as application number and password.
The re-NEET UG 2026 provisional answer key and response sheet will allow candidates to calculate their probable scores.
After cancelling the NEET UG 2026 examination for May 3 due to paper leak claims, the NTA conducted the re-NEET UG test on June 21 for admission to medical courses such as MBBS, BDS and allied at deemed, private and government medical colleges across the country.

Though the NTA has not announced exact date and timings for the release of NEET UG 2026 re-exam answer key, the testing agency is expected to issue the provisional answer key and response sheet for re-NEET UG by June 24, as per media report.
Once the NEET UG 2026 re-exam answer key and the OMR sheets are issued by the NTA, candidates will be given a deadline to raise and submit objections against the answer key.
Based on the challenges raised by the candidates, the NTA will roll out the NEET UG 2026 final answer key and results.
Re-NEET UG 2026 Answer Key: How to download
The steps given below will take candidates to the download window of NEET UG 2026 re-exam answer key and response sheet.
- Go to the official website at neet.nta.nic.in.
- On the homepage, scroll down and click on “NEET UG 2026 re-exam provisional answer key” link.
- A new window will open.
- Enter application number and password.
- Press the submit button.
- Re-NEET UG 2026 answer key will appear on the screen.
- Download it along with the OMR or response sheet.
The NEET UG 2026 question paper contained a total of 180 questions across Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Zoology and Botany), holding a total of 720 marks.
As per the marking scheme, candidates will be awarded four marks for each correct response, whereas one mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.

As per the official marking scheme, candidates get 4 marks for each correct answer and 1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. No marks are given or deducted for unattempted questions.
