REET 2024 application correction facility begins today; new OMR rules, exam schedule
REET 2024 exam will be conducted on February 27 to determine the eligibility for teacher recruitment for Classes 1 to 8.

NEW DELHI: The Board of Secondary Education Rajasthan (RBSE) has opened the application correction window for Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers (REET 2025) today, January 17. Successfully registered candidates can make changes in their REET 2024 application form through the official website, reet2024.co.in.
Candidates will have to use their login credentials such as registration number and date of birth to make changes in REET 2024 application form.
The REET exam will be conducted on February 27 to determine the eligibility for teacher recruitment for Classes 1 to 8. As per the schedule, the REET exam will be held in two shifts from 10 am to 12.30 pm and from 3 pm to 5.30 pm.
The REET exam will be held for two levels - REET level 1 is conducted for awarding eligibility certificates for candidates desirous of teaching Classes 1 to 5 and REET level 2 is held for determining the eligibility to recruit teachers for Classes 6 to 8.
REET 2024 negative marking introduced
The Rajasthan Board introduced negative marking and changes in the OMR rule. The REET exam will have 5 options for a question instead of four. Will deduct ⅓ marks out of the total marks awarded to a question for every wrong answer, as per the marking scheme.
The REET admit card 2024 will be issued on February 19, 2025. Candidates will have to key in their login credentials including their registration number and password to download the REET 2024 admit card.
REET new OMR rule
The board has introduced a new OMR rule for REET exam among other changes. The REET question paper will now have five options instead of four, the board said while announcing the marking scheme for the exam.
As per the REET new OMR rule, there will be 5 options for a question instead of four. It has also introduced a negative marking scheme for wrong responses.
