REET 2025 exam over; day 2 records 88.55% attendance, over 15 lakh candidates registered

NEW DELHI: The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education Rajasthan (BSER) conducted the Rajasthan Teacher Eligibility Test (REET) exam 2025. The REET 2025 exam was held in three shifts in two days on February 27 and 28. A total of 88.55% of candidates appeared for the Feb 28 exam. Around 15 lakh candidates had registered for the exam.

According to the instructions of the state government, the REET 2025 exam was held at 1,731 centres and was monitored through CCTV to ensure transparency.

“Secretary to Government, Education Shri Krishna Kunal has thanked all the concerned officers and employees for the smooth conduct of REET after three years,” the department of education, government of Rajasthan posted on X (formerly Twitter).

Recently, the board introduced the dress code guidelines for REET 2025 exam. Candidates appearing for the exam had to wear plain clothes, slippers or sandals. Additionally, a face recognition technology was introduced in the exam this year.

REET 2025 exam in Jaipur

The REET 2025 exam for February 27 shift 1 was held across 220 exam centres and the second shift at 233 exam centres in Jaipur. However, many candidates appeared for the exam without following the prescribed dress code and they were not allowed to enter the exam hall. A few candidates were able to make changes in the dress code while others missed the opportunity to sit for the REET 2025 exam.

Candidates were advised to reach the exam for morning shift by 8 am and noon shift by 1 pm along with their hall tickets and valid photo ID proof. The exam was held in two shifts from 10 am to 12:30 pm and shift 2 from 3 pm to 5: 30 pm.
