NEW DELHI : The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) will soon announce the results of the computer-based test (CBT) 1 for the post of assistant loco pilot (ALP). Once released, candidates will be able to download the RRB ALP 2025 CBT 1 results through their regional websites.
The RRB ALP selection process comprises three stages including - CBT first stage, CBT second stage, a computer-based aptitude test (CBAT), and lastly, a document verification round.
The RRB ALP 2024 CBT 1 exam was held on November 25, 26, 27, 28 and 29. The paper comprises 75 marks and the exam duration was one hour. Candidates will be awarded one mark for each correct and on-third of the mark will be deduced for each incorrect answer.
The RRB ALP 2024 recruitment notification advertised 5,696 vacancies, however, the number was later revised to 18,799 due to "additional demand received from Zonal Railways."
As per the RRB ALP, if two or more candidates secure the same marks then merit will be evaluated based on age. The RRB ALP exam authorities use this tie-breaking procedure during the document verification process. As per the rule, the older candidate will be placed higher in merit than their counterpart.
RRB ALP CBT 1 expected cut-offs 2025
RRB ALP cut-offs will also be released along with the results. The RRB ALP cut-offs will be determined based on the number of candidates who appeared in the exam, difficulty level, and number of vacancies available.
