RRB ALP Cut off Analysis 2018 for Mechanical Dept. – Trivandrum reflects highest cut off; Siliguri, J&K report lowest

New Delhi, November 3: Thiruvananthpuram or Trivandrum has reported the highest cut off for general and OBC category in RRB ALP first stage examination for Assistant Loco Pilots in Mechanical Department, while in terms of reporting the lowest cut off in general category for the same department, Siliguri and J&K are at par with each other. However, when it comes to OBC category, Siliguri and Kolkata regions share the lowest cut off for shortlisting of the candidates into the second stage exam. According to the official data, the cut off for ALP general and OBC category in Mechanical Department for Thiruvananthpuram region is 53.24 and 47.48 marks respectively, which is the highest for these categories across 17 RRBs. This confirms that the examination for general and OBC categories at Thiruvananthpuram was the toughest among all other regions.
The analysis further reflects that in terms of highest cut off, while Thiruvananthpuram grabs the first position pertaining to general and OBC categories, in terms of recording the lowest cut off for general category, Bhubaneswar, Siliguri, Muzaffarpur and Jammu & Kashmir regions shared lowest cut off marks – 40.
For SC category in Mechanical Department, Kolkata recorded the highest cut off marks (47.37), while the lowest cut off marks of 30.01 are shared by Bhubaneswar and Muzaffarpur.
When it comes to analyzing the cut off for ST category for the same department, it has been seen that RRB Secunderabad secured the highest position with 33.71 marks, but interestingly the lowest cut off (25.02) for this category has been shared by 6 RRB regions – Bhubaneswar, Allahabad, Thiruvananthpuram, Bangalore, Jammu & Kashmir and Kolkata.
