Subscribe NowThe Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) has announced the next phase of recruitment for the post of Sub-Inspector (Executive) in RPF/RPSF. Candidates shortlisted based on their performance in the computer-based test (CBT) have been invited to appear for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Measurement Test (PMT), and Document Verification (DV).
As per the official notice, the tentative schedule for RRB RPF sub-inspector PET, PMT, DV stages is set from June 22 to July 2, 2025. Candidates will have to report to the Jagjivan Ram RPF Academy in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, at 4 am for physical tests and document verification (DV).
“The exact dates will be announced soon on the official website of RRB. Shortlisted candidates will also receive notifications via SMS and email,” the official notice said.
The RRB RPF admit card will be available on the website two weeks before the scheduled date of the PET, PMT, DV. Document verification will be carried out on the same day as the PET and PMT for candidates who qualify, and they should bring all original documents along with two sets of self-attested photocopies.
The recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 4,660 vacancies in the Railway Protection Force. This includes 452 posts for Sub-Inspector (SI) and 4,208 posts for Constable.

Candidates appearing for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) for RPF Sub-Inspector should complete designated activities within the specified time limits. Candidates will be allowed only one attempt for the running events, while for long jump and high jump, candidates are given up to two attempts each.
Male candidates should complete a 1600-metre run within six minutes and 30 seconds. Additionally, they are required to clear a long jump of 12 feet and a high jump of 3 feet 9 inches.
For female candidates, the PET consists of an 800-metre run to be completed within four minutes, along with a long jump of 9 feet and a high jump of 3 feet. These standards should be met to qualify for the next stage of the selection process.
