NEW DELHI: The Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC), Central Railway (CR) has announced has commencement the application process for the recruitment of various apprentice vacancies today, July 16. The recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 2,424 apprentice vacancies in the department.
The official notification for the RRC CR Apprentice 2024 was released on July 16, 2024, marking the beginning of the application process. Candidates will be able to register for RRC CR apprentice recruitment 2024 till August 15 upto 5 pm.
The selection of apprentices will be based on a merit list. The merit list will be prepared by taking the average of the percentage marks obtained by the candidates in both Class 10, 12. Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification as per the schedule.
RRC CR Apprentice Recruitment 2024: Eligibility criteria
Applicants must have passed their Class 10 examination with at least 50% marks. They also need to hold a National Trade Certificate in the relevant trade, issued by the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) or the State Council for Vocational Training (SCVT).
To qualify for the RRC CR apprentice recruitment 2024, candidates must be between 15 and 24 years. There is a 5-year age relaxation for SC and ST candidates, and a 3-year relaxation for OBC candidates. The key date for determining age eligibility is July 15, 2024.
