NEW DELHI: The Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology has commenced the registration process for SMIT admission for 2023-24 academic session. The SMIT 2023 registrations will be held online through the official website-- smu.edu.in till April 12, 2023. As per the official release, the institute will conduct the SMIT online test for B.Tech admissions from April 14 to 20, 2023.
Candidates applying for the SMIT B.Tech admission 2023 should go through the programmes offered, application date, eligibility criteria, application fee and other details. SMIT offers various undergraduate and postgraduate programmes including BTech, BTech – Lateral entry, BSc - Chemistry (honours)/Mathematics, BBA,MBA, BCA, MCA, MTech, MSc (Physics/Chemistry/Maths).

SMIT Admission 2023: Eligibility criteria
The candidates applying for BTech admission at SMIT should have passed Class 12 exam or Diploma in any branch of engineering awarded by State Board of Technical Education. Candidates should have passed the qualifying exam with at least 50 percent score for the general category and at least 45 percent for candidates of SC, ST, OBC categories.
SMIT Admission 2023: Steps to apply
Candidates can apply for SMIT BTech admission 2023 by following the simple steps provided below.
Step 1: Visit the official website-- applysmit.in.
Step 2: On the homepage, click on the link to ‘Apply’ for B.Tech admission programme.
Step 3: Provide the basic details for registration.
Step 4: In the next step fill out the SMIT B.Tech application form by entering further personal and academic details.
Step 5: Pay the application fee of Rs 500 through credit/ debit card or internet banking.
Step 6: Uploading documents including candidate’s photograph and signature.
Step 7: Finally submit the SMIT application form and download the confirmation page.
