SP Jain London School of Management can now grant degrees.

NEW DELHI: SP Jain London School of Management (SPJ London) can now award degrees. The Office for Students (OfS), United Kingdom, has given the business school run by SP Jain group permission to award degrees, making it the first higher educational institute of Indian origin to receive this recognition. The OfS is a higher education regulator in the UK.

Nitish Jain, founder and president of the SP Jain Group, which operates SPJ London, expressed his elation and said, "The granting of degree awarding rights validates our commitment to providing exceptional education and positions us as a frontrunner in the global higher education landscape. We are proud to be the first Indian-origin institution to achieve this."

According to the SP Jain London School of Management’s official website, it offers Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), MSc Global Business, Global MBA and Executive MBA program.

SP Jain Global agreement

In addition to this , SPJ London also signed an agreement with SP Jain School of Global Management (SP Jain Global) which will allow its students to study in different cities during the course of their programme. They can study at the SP Jain Global campuses in Dubai, Singapore, Sydney and Mumbai. From 2023, SP Jain Global students can enrol for a term or transfer to SPJ London. SP Jain Global was established in 2004.

Jain emphasised the significance of this collaboration stating that the agreement "enriches the educational experience for our students”. “This collaboration underscores our commitment to fostering a global mindset and equipping students with the skills and knowledge required to excel in an interconnected world,” he said.
