SSC MTS, Havaldar Result 2025 out; 8,071 shortlisted for PET/PST

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced the Computer Based Examination for the Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff (MTS) and Havaldar (CBIC & CBN) Examination 2025 result on the official website of SSC at ssc.gov.in. The exam was held from February 4 to February 20, 2026, at centres across the country.

According to the official notice, 8,071 applicants have been shortlisted for the Havaldar Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/ Physical Standard Test (PST). The marks are normalised because the examination was conducted in multiple shifts.
This year, out of the 36,19,834 applications received, a total of 8,04,633 applicants appeared for the written examination. The recruitment drive covers Group 'C' non-gazetted, non-ministerial posts across various ministries, departments and offices of the Government of India, besides Havaldar posts under the central board of indirect taxes and customs (CBIC) and the central bureau of narcotics (CBN).

To check the SSC MTS and Havaldar (CBIC & CBN) exam result, follow the steps given below:
- Visit the official website of SSC at ssc.gov.in
- On the homepage, click on the “Multi Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff, and Havaldar (CBIC and CBN) Examination, 2025: Declaration of result of Computer Based Examination to shortlist candidates for PET/ PST for the post of Havaldar” link
- The result pdf will appear on the screen
- Download the result pdf and save it for further reference

The official notice reads, “The candidates who fail to qualify PET/ PST will not be considered for the post of Havaldar in the final result. However, if such candidates get shortlisted for the post of MTS, their File No.:E/15/2025-C-2 SECTION(E-11859) Page 2 of 9 candidature will remain valid for the post of MTS. First Round of Tentative Allocation result for both the posts i.e. MTS and Havaldar will be declared together at a later stage after completion of PET/ PST for the post of Havaldar.”
