NEW DELHI: Amber, a global student accommodation platform, has announced the launch of its third edition of amberScholar programme that offers $15,000 in financial aid to international students, distributed across three categories. The scholarships will be available for students enrolled in September in any programme in the UK, USA, Ireland, or Canada.
The amberScholar scholarship programme offers financial aid to students in three tiers based on their ranking through simple criteria. The first-place winner will receive $7,000, the second-place winner $5,000, and the third-place winner $3,000.
Students can visit the amberScholar official website, amberstudent.com/scholarship, to apply for the programme, the last date of which is August 31. Applicants need to submit a "statement of purpose" which can be in video, text, or PPT format. The list of shortlisted candidates will be announced on September 15.
Saurabh Goel, CEO and co-founder of Amber, said that the prize pool has been increased for this year's edition due to the high level of interest among students worldwide.
"Our goal is to make high-quality education accessible to skilled students across the globe. With better financial assistance, students can pursue their dreams without any constraints," Goel said.
