Study abroad fair for Mumbai students on August 25; US, UK among top destination choices
Leap Scholar is organizing study abroad fair for around 4,000 students and parents. Over 300 international universities will participate.

NEW DELHI : Study abroad platform LeapScholar, in association with consultant GeeBee Education, is set to organize a study-abroad fair in Mumbai on August 25. Over 300 universities from countries such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, and Europe will be a part of the education fair. More than 4,000 parents and students will get the opportunity to discover the different universities and programmes of their choice. The event will be held at Hotel Sahara Star, Mumbai, from 10 am to 4 pm.
Students will also be able to avail of on-spot offers, waivers, and scholarships based on an on-site assessment of their academic profile. “The event will offer spot offers, application fee waivers, and scholarships for eligible students, along with on-spot counselling from university experts to guide students and parents in choosing the right path for their study abroad journey. Complemented by participation from the US consulate as well as value-added services such as loans, GIC FOREX, and more for all attendees.” an official statement read.
According to LeapScholar, some of the popular study abroad destination preferences of students from Maharashtra include countries like the USA, UK, Canada, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Europe. Most applications received from the state are for postgraduate degrees in global business, marketing, engineering, data science, and business analytics among others.

Study abroad fair: Participating universities
Some of the top participating universities from across countries are Northern Arizona University, Northwest Missouri State University, Ohio University, Queen Mary University of London, University of Leeds, University of York, Cardiff Metropolitan University, Leeds Beckett University, Niagara College Canada, Fairleigh Dickinson University, Vancouver, Auckland University of Technology, University of Auckland, Paris School of Business, Berlin School of Business, among others.
The chief operating officer of GeeBee Education, Mayank Gupta said, “In recent years, there has been a noticeable increase in the number of student applicants from Mumbai seeking global education. At GeeBee, our mission is to provide students with a seamless pathway to international universities, having already assisted over 250,000 students to broaden their horizons. With this education fair, we aim to offer students an opportunity to personally meet the representatives of various international universities. The event will also feature participation from the US consulate, including a seminar for both aspiring students and parents.”
