As per TN NEET UG counselling schedule 2025, students can download the allotment order and report to the allotted institutes between August 18 and 24. For reporting, aspirants are required to carry the documents in original along with self-attested photocopies and pay the tuition and other fees. Notably, the government has increased Tamil Nadu MBBS fee for Non-Resident Indian (NRI) and management quota seats in self-financing medical colleges.
A total of 7,513 candidates have been allotted government quota seats, with the top seven opting for Madras Medical College. On the other hand, 2,004 got management quota seats and the toppers secured seats in Christian Medical College, Vellore.
Over 72,000 students were found eligible for MBBS, BDS admissions in the provisional rank list for Tamil Nadu NEET UG counselling 2025.
How to check Tamil Nadu NEET UG seat allotment result 2025?
Here are basic steps to check TN NEET UG round 1 seat allotment results:
- Go to the official website, tnmedicalselection.net
- Navigate to ‘UG courses’ tab and select MBBS/BDS from the drop down menu
- Click on ‘Provisional List of Candidates allotted for MBBS/BDS (Government Quota) Course Session :2025 - 2026”
- The seat allotment PDF will be displayed
- Search for your roll number or name and check the allotment status
- Now, login to your portal and download the confirmation letter
TN NEET UG Counselling 2025: Documents required
The following documents are required at the time of joining the allotted seat:
- NEET UG 2025 admit card and scorecard.
- Class 10 marksheet
- Class 12 marksheet
- Transfer certificate obtained after the completion of HSC or equivalent courses.
- Certificate for proof of study from Class 6 to 12 for the candidates who have studied completely in Tamil Nadu.
- Community Certificate. (if applicable)
- Nativity certificate.
- Community certificate of either one of the parents obtained from the competent revenue authority in Tamil Nadu (who claims communal reservation)
