Start NowNEW DELHI: The issuance of random numbers for TNEA 2020 has been delayed by the authorities as the last date for uploading certificates is extended till August 24. The TNEA random number can now be expected to be released on August 25 at tneaonline.org. Candidates will be able to access the same through TNEA login using their registered email ID and password. They will also receive the TNEA 2020 random number through SMS and email.
Previously, TNEA random number was scheduled to be issued on August 21, but the same did not take place and there is no update on the official website in this regard. When the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) conducting authorities were contacted by Careers360 regarding the delay, the extension of document upload was informed. However, TNEA random number 2020 release time and date has not been disclosed, the same can be expected to be issued on August 25 as per the previous trends.

What is the TNEA Random Number?
Candidates who apply for engineering admission in the state of Tamil Nadu are issued TNEA 2020 random number which is a 10 digit unique number used for tie breaking. The issuance of random number for TNEA 2020 shall be followed by verification of certificates at TNEA Facilitation Centres (TFCs) for which revised schedule shall be released by the authorities.
