The rank list of TNEA 2021 has been published by DoTE, Tamilnadu today online on the official website, tneaonline.org.
New Delhi : - Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE), Tamil Nadu has released the rank list of TNEA 2021 today, September 14. The rank list is available at tneaonline.org. Students can check TNEA 2021 rank list by using an email Id and password.

TNEA rank list 2021 is made based on the scores obtained by the candidates in the qualifying exam. For the TNEA 2021 rank list preparation, the marks obtained by the candidates in the subjects of the qualifying examination are converted to the base of 200 marks (maths- 100 marks and chemistry and physics - 100 marks).
For vocational stream candidates, the scores are converted to the base of 200 marks. , the marks obtained by the candidates in the related subjects (100 marks) and vocational subjects including theory and practical (100 marks).
How to download TNEA 2021 rank list?
Candidates can check the detailed procedure to download the rank list of TNEA 2021.
Step-1: Open the official website - tneaonline.org.
Step-2: Then, click on the TNEA rank list 2021 link on the web page.
Step-3: Enter registered email Id and password without any mistake and click on the ‘Login’ button.
Step-4: The rank list will appear on the screen in the form of a pdf.
Step-5: Now, download it and take a printout of the same for future use.
TNEA 2021 rank list - Tie-breaking rule
The candidates can check the tie-breaking rule below which will be used for the preparation of TNEA inter-se merit 2021.

In case of a tie, a candidate with a higher percentage scored in maths will be assigned a higher TNEA rank.

If the tie still continues, a candidate with higher percentage scores in physics will be assigned a higher rank.

If the tie still persists, a candidate with higher percentage marks in the 4th optional subject will be assigned a higher rank.

If the tie still continues, the candidate older in age will be granted a higher rank.

If the tie still persists, the tie will break based on the random number. Those with a higher random number will be assigned a higher rank.
