NEW DELHI: The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) has declared the seat allotment result for the first phase of the Telangana State Engineering Common Entrance Test (TS ECET) counselling 2024 today, June 18. Candidates who applied for TS ECET 2024 counselling can download their allotment order at tgecet.nic.in.
Students will need their ROC form number, TGECET hall ticket number, password, and date of birth to download the allotment order. The council has also issued college-wise allotments. Seat allotted candidates can make payment of tuition fee and do self-reporting online between June 18 and June 21. Upon payment of fee, they will have to take their admission number to confirm the provisionally allotted seat and take a print out.
Students belonging to the SC and ST categories will have to pay a minimum of Rs 5,000 and others will have to submit Rs 10,000 along with the tuition fee where it is less than Rs 5,000 (SC/ST) and Rs 10,000 for others. “The same will be returned back to the candidates who report at the allotted college after the final phase. If the candidate did not report at the allotted college the same will be forfeited,” the council informed.
How to download TS ECET seat allotment result?
- Go to the official website, tgecet.nic.in
- Click on the ‘candidates login’ tab
- Login with your credentials
- Click on allotment order
- TS ECET seat allotment result will be displayed
- Download the order and take a print out
After the first phase of counselling, if the candidate cancels admission online after fee payment and exercises options in subsequent phases, the paid tuition fee will be considered for the subsequent seat allotment and forfeiture of amount will be applicable as follows:
- If the candidate cancels the provisionally allotted seat on or before the cut-off date notified for cancellation in the first phase in the allotment order, full tuition fee will be refunded.
- 50 percent of the fee will be refunded after the final phase and before cut-off date notified for cancellation in allotment order and 100% thereafter in respect of private un-aided and university colleges.
“If the candidate does not pay the prescribed Tuition Fee within the schedule mentioned, the provisional allotted seat automatically stands cancelled and he / she shall not have any claim on the provisionally allotted seat,” the council further said.
