Download EBookIIT Bombay has announced the result of Undergraduate Common Entrance Exam for Design, commonly called as UCEED on February 21 in online mode. The score card has also been released by the exam authorities along with the result. Out of 11,567 candidates who appeared in the entrance exam on January 20 at the allotted exam centres, 6,219 candidates have qualified in the exam.

Saumya Divya Oberoi from Pune has made her mark in the UCEED exam 2018 by scoring 244 out of 300 and gaining first rank. Following her is the second ranker, Atul Tripathi who belongs to Ghaziabad and has secured 230 marks in total. The third ranker of UCEED, Krishna Ramesh Nair who belongs to Thiruvananthapuram has secured 223 marks in the exam.
To check their UCEED exam result, candidates will have to use their registered email ID and password to login. As soon as the candidates will login, their result will be reflected on the screen. However, to download the score card, candidates will have to enter their UCEED registration number and password. Candidates are advised to download it and take two printouts of the same and keep it safely till the admission procedure is over.
The next step is the preparation of the rank list of candidates on the basis of their total scores in the exam. Since, the exam was conducted in two parts – Part A & B, the rank list will be prepared on the basis of normalized scores of the candidates. This rank list will be used for seat allotment.
Candidates will get admission to Bachelor of Design (B.Des) programmes offered at I IT Bombay, IIT Guwahati and IIITDM Jabalpur etc. on the basis of their UCEED exam scores. All the admissions in these institutions will be on the basis of merit and selection of seats by the qualified candidates.
UCEED scores will be used this year for admission to the following institutes :
- Chandigarh University, Punjab
- World University of Design, Delhi-NCR
- Central Institute of Technology, Kokrajhar
- Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology, Delhi
- U.P. Institute of Design Noida (An Institute of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow)
- Lovely Professional University, Phagwara, Punjab
- University of Petroleum and Energy Studies, Dehradun
- VIT University, Vellore, TamilNadu
- Shrishti School of Art Design and Technology, Bengaluru
- IIIT- Delhi - admission to some seats in Btech (CSD) will be offered on the basis of UCEED 2018 scores.
