Ayurveda Day 2022 will be observed on October 23, 2022. This year’s theme is 'Har Din, Har Ghar Ayurveda' - 'Ayurveda Everyday, Ayurveda Everywhere'.

NEW DELHI: The University Grants Commission (UGC) has asked al higher education institutions to promote scientificity of Ayurveda as a part of Ayurveda Day celebrations. Ayurveda Day 2022 will be celebrated on October 23, 2022.
“All the Higher Educational Institutions and their affiliated colleges/institutions are requested to promote scientificity of Ayurveda by creating Jan Sandesh, Jan Bhagidari and Jan Aandolan for Jan Arogya of people by organizing various activities to reach the maximum number of students and staff. The events may be given wide publicity through social/print/ electronic media campaign,” UGC said in a letter to vice chancellors, principals of colleges, universities.

The Ministry of Ayush observes Ayurveda Day every year on Dhanawantri Jayanti (Dhanteras) since the year 2016. This year, Ayurveda Day 2022 is being observed on October 23, 2022. The theme of this year's Ayurveda Day is 'Har Din, Har Ghar Ayurveda' - 'Ayurveda Everyday, Ayurveda Everywhere'.
The Ministry under the 'Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav', is organizing a series of events including competitions to commemorate "Ayurveda@2047" from September 12, 2022 to October 23, 2022. The All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA) has been nominated as a nodal organization to organize the event.
UGC informed that in case any information is required in the matter, the nodal officer of the events in AIIA can be contacted. The details of the events and the suggestive activities which can be organized along with the details of nodal officer have been provided, it said.
