UGC NET 2025: The last date for UGC NET June session application fee payment is May 13.
UGC NET 2025 : The National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the registration for University Grants Commission - National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) 2025 June session today. Eligible candidates can apply for UGC NET 2025 on the official website, ugcnet.nta.ac.in. The last date for UGC NET 2025 application fee payment is May 13.
The UGC NET 2025 application correction window will be open from May 14 to 15. Earlier, the last date to submit the UGC NET 2025 June application form was May 7.
The UGC NET 2025 June exams will be conducted from June 21 to 30. The exam is held for admissions to junior research fellow (JRF) and assistant professor posts. The UGC NET 2025 age limit for JRF posts is not more than 30 years of age, and assistant professor posts do not have any upper age limit.
For UGC NET 2025 application fee for general category students is Rs 1,150, for OBC and EWS category is Rs 600, and for SC, ST, and PwD candidates have to pay Rs 325 as registration fee.
UGC NET 2025 exam pattern
As per the UGC NET 2025 exam pattern, the exam comprises paper 1 and 2. A total of 50 questions will be asked in paper 1 from reasoning ability, comprehension, divergent thinking, and general awareness. The UGC NET paper 2 will have 100 questions from the optional subjects chosen by the candidates. Candidates have the option to choose from 85 subjects offered. The UGC NET 2025 exam will be held for three hours. There’s no negative marking in the UGC NET exam 2025. The paper 1 consists of 100 marks and paper 2 of 200 marks.
