UGC NET Answer Key Challenge Date Extended; Raise Objections by July 6

NEW DELHI, JULY 5: National Testing Agency (NTA) has given another chance to challenge the answer key of UGC NET 2019. Candidates who could not raise objections within the prior allotted time frame, July 1 to 3, 2019 can now raise objections latest by July 6, 2019 (5 pm).

To raise objections candidates must send an email at netkeychallenge2019@gmail.com. The email must mention subject code, name of the subject, application number, roll number, question ID, option in answer key and claimed option ID. The authority has intimated the candidates about the answer key challenge date extension through SMS on the candidates personal mobile number.
The exam conducting authority will then scrutinise the answer key after which the final answer key will be announced. One the basis of the final answer key the authority will announce the final result by July 15, 2019.
Earlier the answer key was released on July 1 which could be challenged with a payment of Rs 1000 per question. The test of UGC NET was held by NTA on June 20, 21, 24, 25, 26, 27, and 28, 2019 for two papers. Candidates who will qualify in the test will be eligible to apply as Assistant Professors in colleges across the country and be awarded Junior Research Fellowship (JRF).
