UGC NET December 2025 registration begins for JRF, assistant professor, PhD admissions

The NTA will announce the UGC NET December 2025 admit card, and exam details soon on its official websites at ugcnet.nta.nic.in and nta.ac.in.
The National Test Agency (NTA) has commenced the online registrations for UGC NET December 2025 examination through its official website at ugcnet.nta.nic.in. The UGC NET December 2025 application link will be active till November 7, 2025.

Eligible candidates seeking eligibility for Junior Research Fellowship, appointment as assistant professor, and admission to PhD courses through UGC NET December 2025 will be able to make changes to their application forms between November 10 and 12, 2025.
The computer-based University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) December 2025 will be conducted for 85 subjects.

Notably, the NTA will announce the UGC NET December 2025 admit card, and exam details soon on its official websites at ugcnet.nta.nic.in and nta.ac.in.
General and unreserved category candidates are required to pay Rs 1,150 as UGC NET December 2025 application fee. Those belonging to general, Economically Weaker Section (EWS), Other Backward Classes (OBC)- Non Creamy Layer (NCL) should have to pay Rs 600 as registration fee to appear in the exam.
Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Persons with Disability (PwD) must pay Rs 325 as application fee for the UGC NET December 2025.
UGC NET December 2025: Format for uploading images, documents
Candidates looking forward to registering for the UGC NET December 2025 application form must read the format for uploading images.
- Scanned images of candidate’s photograph, signature, PwD or PwBD certificate (wherever applicable).
- A recent photograph should be in color or black and white with 80% face visible including ears against a white background. (Don’t put on a mask).
- Scanned photographs and signatures should be in JPG/JPEG format.
- The size of the scanned photograph should be between 10 kb to 200 kb.
- The scanned signature image size should be between 10 kb to 50 kb.
- The PwD/PwBD certificate should be in Pdf format between 50 kb to 300 kb.
