NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to declare the results of the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) 2024 December session soon. Candidates will be able to check their UGC NET Result 2024 on the official website, ugcnet.nta.ac.in, once released.

The UGC NET 2024 results will be prepared based on the final answer key. The UGC NET provisional answer key was released on January 31 and the objection window to challenge the answer key closed on February 3. The subject experts will release the final answer key after reviewing all the objections raised by the candidates.
Candidates will require their application number and password to download the UGC NET 2024 results. The UGC NET Result 2024 exam was held at 558 exam centres in 266 cities across the country. As per NTA, 8,49,166 candidates registered for the exam and 6,49,490 candidates appeared for the exam. The overall attendance was 76.5%. The UGC NET December 2024 exam was conducted on January 3, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 16, 21, and 27.
Those who qualify for the exam will be eligible for the award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), appointment as assistant professor, and admission to PhD programmes in college and universities. The UGC NET exam is held twice a year.
