NEW DELHI: The Union finance minister Niramala Sitharaman will table the Budget 2025 at 11 am in Lok Sabha today. Increased allocations to boost job creation and skills and income tax reforms are high on the list of expectations. Budget 2025 LIVE

The Budget session 2025 began on January 31 with the President Droupadi Murmu's address to Parliament. As per the budget session schedule, the general budget 2025 will be presented today, February 1, in the Lok Sabha at 11 am.

The Lok Sabha has provisionally allotted two days from February 3-4 for discussion on the Motion of Thanks to the President's address, while Rajya Sabha has earmarked three days for the debate.

As per the PTI report, the Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to reply to the debate in Rajya Sabha on February 6. Before the Budget speech 2025, experts predicted that the emphasis will be on employment and skilling with a focus on boosting incomes.
