Hyderabad University Admission: Candidates will have to apply for CUET 2022 to get admission in five-year integrated PG programmes

NEW DELHI: The University of Hyderabad has decided to hold admission to five-year integrated postgraduate programmes through the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) 2022, the University announced on social media.

“Admissions to the 5 Year Integrated PG programs for Academic Year 2022 in the Hyderabad University will be done through the Common University Entrance Test CUET (UG) 2022,” said University of Hyderabad in a tweet.

Candidates desiring to apply to the 5 Years Integrated PG programs of the University have to appear for the Domain and language papers as mentioned in column ‘D’ below pictures, it said.

CUET 2022: Core, qualifying papers
According to the official statement of the CUET 2022 domain and language papers are categorized as CORE and QUALIFYING for clarity, the University further said.

Core papers: The merit list for the integrated PG programmes will be determined based on the scores of the candidates in the papers identified as core papers. Rank list for the admission will be prepared in the order of merit of scores in the core papers, said the university in its official statement.
Qualifying papers: Candidates are required to score a minimum cut-off of 35 marks in the qualifying papers to be considered for admission to the PG programmes. Only those candidates who score minimum cut off marks in the qualifying papers will be considered for admission, irrespective of their scores in the core papers. The marks scored in the qualifying papers will not affect the rank, it said.

CUET 2022 will be conducted in two shifts in the first and second week of July. The CUET 2022 exam will be held in 13 languages in 547 cities within the country and in 13 cities outside of India. The question paper of CUET 2022 will consist of a language test, optional language test, domain-specific tests, and the general test.
