University of Hyderabad to conduct admissions in all PG programmes though CUET 2023

Hyderabad University will be considering scores of entrance exams such as exam CUET PG, JEE, CAT, GATE among others for admission in various PG programmes.
NEW DELHI: The University of Hyderabad (UoH) will be accepting admissions in all integrated PG and PG courses through the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) 2023.
Students applying for the 5-year integrated PG programmes at Hyderabad university must appear for CUET domain and language papers to be eligible for admission. For core papers, the merit list will be determined based on the scores of the candidates. Candidates are also required to score a minimum of 50 marks in the qualifying papers to be considered for admissions to PG programmes.

The university has informed candidates that NIMCET scores will be considered for admission in MCA course at Hyderabad University. Further, The admission to 11 MTech courses will be through GATE scores and admission to the 5-year integrated MTech in computer science programme will be through Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) of JEE. MBA admissions will be based on CAT scores and MSc biotechnology admission will be through GAT-B.
The UoH will close applications for integrated PG programmes on March 30, 2023, PG programme applications will close on April 19, 2023. The National Testing Agency will end the online CUET PG 2032 application process at 5 PM on April 19, 2023.

"After attempting the CUET 2023 exam, candidates desirous of getting admission to UoH will be required to apply separately to UoH through an online application which will be made available on acad.uohyd.ac.in. Shortlisting of candidates will be done on basis of their CUET-2023 scores," read a press statement.
According to the CUET PG information bulletin, 142 universities will be participating in the CUET PG for admissions to postgraduate programmes this year. Delhi University , Pondicherry University , JMI among various others have announced admissions through the common entrance test.
