UP 69, 000 Assistant Teacher recruitment result announced - 1.4 lakh candidates qualify exam

NEW DELHI- Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB) announced the result for Uttar Pradesh Assistant Teachers Recruitment Test (ATRE) on the official website atrexam.upsdc.gov.in. According to media reports approximately 1,46,060 candidates qualified for 69,000 vacancies. Approximately four lakh thirty-one thousand candidates had registered for the exam out of which 4,09, 530 appeared. There were three questions that were apparently incorrect and for which all the candidates were awarded the same marks.

About UP Assistant Teachers Recruitment
The announcement of the result of 69,000 assistant teachers has ended the long wait for a large number of candidates who appeared for the exam. The entrance test was marred by controversy over the cutoff also. It was only after the intervention of the Allahabad High Court that the matter related to the cutoff was sorted and the result was announced.
