Download NowNEW DELHI: The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) will conduct a fresh exam for Class 12 English board exam 2022 on April 13 in 24 districts where it was cancelled due to paper leak.
The Uttar Pradesh police today arrested eight more people including the alleged mastermind in Class 12 English exam question paper leak taking the total number of arrests to 34.

The UP Board English language exam was cancelled in 24 districts on March 30 after the paper was leaked, prompting state Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to order stringent action, including invoking the National Security Act, against the culprits.
Among the arrests on Friday, the alleged mastermind Mulayam Chauhan and three of his accomplices were nabbed by the police in Nagra and four others by a team in Sikandarpur.

The police teams had earlier arrested 26 people, including Ballia's District Inspector of Schools (DIoS) Brajesh Kumar Mishra and three journalists, officials said.
UPMSP cancelled UP Board Class 12 English exam 2022 in the second shift in all exam centers of 24 districts following a possibility of paper leak. The exam was to be held from 2 pm on Wednesday.

The 24 districts where the UP 12th English exam was cancelled were Ballia, Etah, Baghpat, Badaun, Sitapur, Kanpur Dehat, Lalitpur, Chitrakoot, Pratapgarh, Gonda, Azamgarh, Agra, Varanasi, Mainpuri, Mathura, Aligarh, Ghaziabad, Shamli, Shahjahanpur, Unnao, Jalaun, Mahoba, Ambedkar Nagar, and Gorakhpur.
The UP Board Class 10, 12 board exams 2022 began on March 24, after a delay caused due to the UP by-elections. Shockingly, on the first day over 4 lakh students skipped the exam . The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) conducted the UP Board Hindi paper for both Class 10, 12.
