The Nationalist Congress Party welcomed prime minister Narendra Modi holding 'Pariksha Pe Charcha', but asked him when he would organise 'Pareshani Pe Charcha' to address the concerns of students' parents and common people.
"People were sceptical about Swach Bharat Abhiyaan when I enunciated it while delivering a speech for the first time on 15th August. Their scepticism was proven wrong by the country's children. They spread awareness regarding the cleanliness campaign," prime minister Narendra Modi said while speaking on Swach Bharat Abhiyaan.
"In earlier times when it came to education, parents used to think that the son should be taught. Many used to think that teaching daughters are not necessary as they will go to their in-law's house and make a living. I have seen incidents where sons are living in happiness, but their parents living in old age homes. Sons and daughters should be treated equally in society. A society that lags behind in empowering women can never progress," said Modi on gender discrimination.
"Today in sports, the daughters of India are making their name bright everywhere. Today, the strength of our daughters is visible in the field of science. The number of female students who pass Class 10, 12 exams is higher in number. Today daughters have become a big power for every family. This change is great. The greater this change, the greater the profit," he said.
Replying to the students' query regarding competitive exams, PM Modi responded, "We should consider competition as the biggest gift of life. What is life like if there is no competition? In fact, we should invite the competition, only then is our criterion. Competition is an important medium to advance life, through which we can also evaluate ourselves,"
Everyone wants a good outcome from the time they spent. Students should introspect whether they are getting the desired outcome from the time and effort they have invested, PM Modi said in response to students' query on engaging in things they enjoy. "You have to at least adjust yourself for what you enjoy, there is no need to give up that path. But even in that comfort stage, your work is your studies, the maximum outcome is that you do not have to deviate from it at all," he further said.

"God has deprived a disabled person of so many abilities but the disabled have transformed those weaknesses into strengths. Students should introspect and look into as to what are the weaknesses that are hindering them from progressing," PM Modi said during Pariksha Pe Charcha 2022.
"Students sometimes face difficulties while making important decisions. Students should develop a habit of revising whatever they have learnt in class with their friends. This will help them absorb knowledge together": PM Modi
Anusha from Telangana asked how to remember the things teachers have taught us. Gayatri, another student asked how to deal with forgetting the things she studied for an exam?
Modi responded by saying that sometimes students do write answers well for those topics they haven't prepared well for. He said that concentration is the key. He said one should live in the present and focus to remember things.
"Meditation is very simple. Try to live the moment you are in. If you live that moment to the fullest, it becomes your strength. The greatest gift of God is the present. For one who knows the present, who can live it, there is no question of the future," he said.
Komal Sharma from Jaipur and Aaron from Qatar asked how to handle lack of motivation, deal with procrastination.
According to Modi, one should observe self and understand what demotivates them and what motivates them. "Knowing yourself is very important. Know what are the things in it that frustrate you, put them aside. Then you get to know which things naturally inspire you. You must analyze your own subject," he said.

When asked about the National Education Policy (NEP), which was the first implemented education policy that has not been tabled or voted on in Parliament, PM Modi said, "Since 2014, we were engaged in the work of the new National Education Policy. For this work in every corner of India brainstorming took place on this subject. It was discussed under the leadership of good scholars of the country, people who were associated with science and technology. the draft prepared. The draft prepared from it was then sent to the people, on which 15-20 lakh inputs came. After so much effort, the new education policy has come. Whatever the government does, the voice of protest is raised from somewhere or the other. But it is a matter of happiness for me that the National Education Policy has been received strongly in every section of India. Therefore, all the people who do this work deserve to be congratulated"

Narendra Modi said that he is proud to find out that school students have developed objects using 3D printing, developed apps to aid education and even made artworks.
PM Modi teased the students by asking whether they really study, or watch reels during online class. "The fault is not online or offline. Even in the classroom, many times your body will be in the classroom, your eyes will be towards the teacher, but not a single word will go into your ear because your mind will be somewhere else," he said.
"If the mind is somewhere else, then listening stops. Things that happen offline also happen online. It means that the medium is not the problem, the mind is the problem. Whether the medium is online or offline, if the mind is completely immersed in it, then online or offline will not matter to you," he added.
Modi further said that digital gadgets will help students achieve things very easily and widely, and hence students should consider it as an opportunity and not a problem.
PM Modi asked students to not take experiences as small. He urged them to be not under pressure to prevent panicking and to spend the upcoming exam time same as the usual easy routine.
"Make sure in your mind that exams are an easy part of life. These are small steps in our development journey. We have gone through this stage even before. We have given the exam many times before. When this confidence is created then these experiences become your strength for the coming exams," PM Modi told students while replying to their queries.

"This is my favourite programme. But due to Corona, I could not meet friends like you in between. Today's programme is a special pleasure for me because after a long gap I am getting a chance to meet you all. There are also exams in between festivals. Because of this, they are not able to enjoy the festivals. But if the exam itself is made a festival, then many colours are filled in it," said PM Modi during the interaction with students at Pariksha Pe Charcha 2022.
